On a sparsely filled Vångavallen, with only 50 people in the stands, Sunday’s match between Trelleborgs FF and Ljungskile SK in the Superettan kicked off.
Referee Robert Daradic started the match, and both teams quickly showed a high tempo and intensity. It wasn't until the 53rd minute that Trelleborgs FF made their first substitution, with Abdul Fatawu Safiu replacing Niklas Bröndsted Vesterlund.
In the 58th minute, the only goal of the match came when Erik Andersson from Trelleborgs FF scored after a nice assist from Abdul Fatawu Safiu.
After the goal, Ljungskile SK tried to get back into the match and made several substitutions to create offensive threats. Perparim Beqaj, Joakim Olausson, and Johan Svahn were brought on in hopes of threatening Trelleborg’s goal.
However, despite several attempts from both teams to score more goals, the final score remained 1-0 in favor of Trelleborgs FF. Abdul Fatawu Safiu received a yellow card in the 87th minute, but that was the only action at the end.
With three points secured, Trelleborgs FF celebrated their victory and delighted the few spectators present at Vångavallen that evening.
