At Gamla Ullevi, GAIS and Östers IF faced off in an exciting match in the Superettan. Despite the fact that no spectators were allowed due to Covid-19, there was a great deal of tension on the pitch and among the players.

Before the match began, GAIS was in 9th place in the table while Östers IF was in 4th place. GAIS needed a victory to climb the table, while Östers IF needed to win to secure their position. The match started at 3:00 PM on Saturday afternoon, with Enzo Vesprini as the referee, and Simon Kristensson and Daniel Gorgievski as assistant referees.

The first half of the match reflected an even battle between the teams, but neither could score. It was not until the 68th minute that the referee ruled an own goal against GAIS, giving Östers IF a 0-1 lead.

After that, substitutions were made one after another; GAIS desperately tried to turn the match around while Östers IF aimed to maintain their lead. However, despite several opportunities and chances for GAIS, they were unable to get a single ball into the net.

The match ended with a victory for Östers IF, 0-1, allowing them to strengthen their position in the table. GAIS failed to secure three points and dropped down to 10th place. An intense match that turned out to be very exciting, but in the end, it was Östers IF's day.
