It was a promising start for the home team GIF Sundsvall as they faced Vasalund at NP3 Arena in today's Superettan match. Just two minutes in, Pontus Engblom received the ball from a perfect cross by Linus Hallenius and was able to put it past Vasalund's goalkeeper.

GIF Sundsvall continued to press forward, and only six minutes later, Erik Andersson delivered a fine performance by scoring GIF Sundsvall's second goal after an assist from Hallenius.

Vasalund struggled to find their rhythm, and when GIF Sundsvall's Engblom scored his second goal of the match in the 18th minute following a nice pass from Dennis Olsson, the match seemed already decided.

Vasalund attempted to rally, and Kebba Ceesay received a warning after a tough tackle in the 58th minute. Five minutes later, Charbel Georges scored a beautiful free-kick goal, which gave Vasalund a boost.

Vasalund then had several opportunities, but GIF Sundsvall's goalkeeper held firm until the 85th minute when Alexander Andue managed to score Vasalund's second goal. It made for an exciting finish to the match, but GIF Sundsvall managed to hold on for a 3-2 victory. A strong performance by Linus Hallenius, who was involved in all three of GIF Sundsvall's goals.
