Athletic Eskilstuna hosted Trelleborgs FF at Tunavallen in front of an empty stadium on Saturday afternoon in an exciting match in the Superettan. Referee Andreas Dufva-Johansson controlled the match with assistance from Josef Alacam and Conny Hugman.

It was Trelleborgs FF that took the lead already in the sixth minute through Dzenis Kozica, assisted by Petar Petrovic. However, Athletic Eskilstuna quickly equalized with a goal from Alexander Ahl Holmström in the thirteenth minute, assisted by Abdelkarim Mammar Chaouche. Just seven minutes later, it was Ahl Holmström who scored his second goal of the match, giving Eskilstuna the lead this time assisted by York Rafael.

Towards the end of the first half, Petar Petrovic received a yellow card for Trelleborgs FF, and just before the break, Ahl Holmström completed his hat trick, scoring his third goal for Athletic Eskilstuna, assisted by Ismet Lushaku.

In the second half, Trelleborgs FF made one substitution while Eskilstuna made two substitutions after sixty minutes. In the 78th minute, Trelleborgs FF reduced the deficit with a goal from Fredrik Liverstam, assisted by Johan Blomberg. Despite several warnings for both teams, neither was able to score again, and the match ended 3-2 in favor of Athletic Eskilstuna.

It was an exciting match in which Alexander Ahl Holmström delivered an impressive hat trick, securing three points for Athletic Eskilstuna.
