Västerås SK FK and Östers IF faced off at Hitachi Energy Arena in a Superettan match on Saturday afternoon. Despite a fairly exciting game on the pitch, there were remarkably few goal-scoring opportunities, and the match ended in a 0-0 draw in front of a crowd of 410 spectators.

The match showed some aggression early on, resulting in a couple of early warnings. After 14 minutes, Östers IF's Mattis Adolfsson received a yellow card, and about half an hour later, his teammate Jesper Jonasson Westermark also received a warning.

The match continued with few goal chances and a lot of contested play for the ball, with several short interruptions as teams dealt with some fouls. In the second half, the tempo picked up somewhat, and after 73 minutes, Västerås SK FK's Filip Almström Tähti received a yellow card.

Shortly after, Östers IF brought on Emil Engqvist and James Keene in an attempt to provide better offensive support, but the match still felt fairly even. At times, it became quite tough on the pitch, and after 80 minutes, Västerås SK FK's Anton Fagerström received a yellow card.

However, it wasn’t finished with all players on the field. After 81 minutes, Filip Almström Tähti from Västerås SK FK received a second yellow card and was sent off as a result. Östers IF's Nicolas Mortensen stepped up to the penalty spot after a handball call from Fredrik Oppong, but the goalkeeper saved the penalty, and the match continued with one player less for Västerås SK FK.

At the end of the match, both teams substituted their last players, and just before the referee blew the final whistle, Västerås SK FK's David Engström received a yellow card as well. It was a fairly exciting match, but in the end, neither team was able to find the net, and the match concluded 0-0.
