On a sunny Saturday afternoon, GAIS and IK Brage met at Gamla Ullevi. A crowd of football fans gathered in the stands to experience the match. The referee Fredrik Oppong and his assistants Martin Palm and Luke Kyqyku had full control of the game.

The first half was a match where both teams tried to establish their play but with little result. However, after 10 minutes of play, Leonard Pllana was fouled in the penalty area by a GAIS player. He took the penalty himself and confidently placed the ball in the net behind the GAIS goalkeeper – 0-1 to IK Brage. For the rest of the half, GAIS continued to chase an equalizer while IK Brage defended their lead. GAIS's Joackim Åberg and August Wängberg received yellow cards during the half.

At halftime, GAIS substituted Daniel Sterner for Simon Alexandersson. GAIS could have had a better start to the second half, but after three minutes of play, Emin Grozdanic received a yellow card.

GAIS coach Rickard Johansson made two substitutions after 57 minutes, bringing in Malkolm Moenza and Julius Lindberg for Niklas Andersen and Nikola Ladan. However, IK Brage was more effective in the second half, and after 74 minutes, they made three substitutions, with Shkodran Maholli scoring – 0-2 to IK Brage.

GAIS's Mathias Karlsson received a yellow card after 77 minutes of play. With ten minutes left in the match, GAIS made two substitutions, bringing in Daniel Hultqvist and Adnan Maric for Adam Egnell and Johan Andersson.

IK Brage made two substitutions in stoppage time to maintain control of the match, with Noa Williams coming on for Niklas Söderberg and Joakim Persson for Bjarni Mark Antonsson. The match ended 0-2 in favor of IK Brage.

It was a well-played match with high intensity between two skilled teams at Gamla Ullevi.
