Landskrona BoIS went strong as they faced Trelleborgs FF at Landskrona IP A-plan. Just one minute into the match, Robin Hofsö scored to make it 1-0 for the home team, assisted by Jonathan Asp. Landskrona continued to dominate, and shortly after the quarter-hour mark, Filip Ottosson increased the lead with a goal assisted by Oscar Petersson.

Not only that, but Landskrona's goal fest continued when Hofsö netted his second of the day, with national team player Ottosson providing another assist, bringing the score to 3-0.

However, Trelleborg refused to give up and reduced the deficit to 3-1, with Petar Petrovic scoring after a pass from Henrik Johansson. Before the halftime break, Sumar Almadjed received a yellow card for Landskrona.

Trelleborg's coach made a substitution at halftime, bringing on Simon Amin in place of Henrik Johansson. Trelleborg tried to turn the match around, but it was Landskrona who scored the next goal. Filip Olsson took a free kick to the right of the wall and extended the lead to 4-1.

Trelleborg pulled back another goal when Haris Brkic scored his first goal in Superettan 2021, after a pass from Henry Offia. Trelleborg also brought on a new player when Isak Jönsson replaced Jesper Modig.

Landskrona made substitutions as well, with Philip Andersson coming on for Johan Rapp. Trelleborg received two more yellow cards in the second half, as Mouhammed-Ali Dhaini and Henry Offia each picked up a yellow. Abdul Fatawu Safiu and Tobias Karlsson came on for Mouhammed-Ali Dhaini and Haris Brkic.

Landskrona also made two substitutions, with Måns Ekvall and Niklas Nielsen entering the field for Filip Olsson and Robin Hofsö, while Dennis Olofsson replaced Filip Ottosson.
