Örgryte IS Football secured a solid victory against Vasalund on Monday evening at Gamla Ullevi. William Svensson was the star player for the home team, while Vasalund's Zurab Tsiskaridze became the savior for the away team.

The match started evenly, but after just over 20 minutes of play, Mai Traore received a yellow card for Vasalund. Nearly half an hour into the match, Daniel Paulson broke the deadlock in brilliant fashion by scoring 1-0 for the home side, and in the 40th minute, Ajdin Zeljkovic extended the lead to 2-0 after a nice pass from Hampus Dahlqvist.

Vasalund fought to get back into the game and tried to create chances, but Örgryte's defense was strong and held firm. Nevertheless, Vasalund continued to battle, and in the 90th minute, they pulled one back through Zurab Tsiskaridze, who scored with a nice header after an assist from Elias Durmaz.

However, this had little significance in the end, as Örgryte IS Football had already sealed the match with two goals earlier. The final score was 3-1 in favor of the home team, marking a welcome victory in front of the 2011 spectators at Gamla Ullevi.
