Athletic Eskilstuna made a strong impression as they faced league leaders Norrby IF at Tunavallen in front of a small crowd of 357. The home team, eager for revenge, took the lead just two minutes into the match through Alexander Ahl Holmström, assisted by Viktor Götesson.

Athletic continued to dominate the game, and after half an hour, they were awarded a penalty which was converted by André Alsanati, extending their lead to 2-0. Norrby IF pressed forward but struggled to create dangerous goal-scoring opportunities while Athletic remained a threat.
