It was an exciting Superettan match at Skytteholm IP 1 between Vasalund and GAIS on Sunday afternoon. GAIS got off to a strong start with two goals in just eleven minutes of play. The first goal was scored by Julius Lindberg with the help of his brother Jonas Lindberg, and the second goal was a header by Filip Örnblom assisted by August Wängberg.

GAIS continued to dominate the match and scored a third goal just before halftime, again through Julius Lindberg, who was once more assisted by his brother. Vasalund made two substitutions at halftime, which seemed to help as they scored their first goal in the 53rd minute following an own goal by GAIS. After that, Anthony Wambani had the opportunity to further reduce the deficit for the home team while Boris Lumbana received a warning for GAIS.

GAIS brought in Simon Alexandersson, and it was quickly his teammate Viktor Alexandersson who got the chance to score, which he did in the 65th minute. Vasalund continued to fight despite the heavy deficit against GAIS, with Ekin Bulut managing to score Vasalund’s second goal after an assist from Nikola Vasic.

Vasalund had a lot of energy and continued to create chances, and with only eight minutes left on the match clock, Vasic scored their third goal with an assist from Charbel Georges. GAIS tried to hold them off as time ran out, but Viktor Alexandersson received a warning in stoppage time. Despite Vasalund's efforts, they could not score any further goals, and the match ended 4-3 in favor of GAIS, earning them their fourth victory of the season. The attendance was 374, and Robert Daradic was the match referee, with Niklas Alfredsson and Conny Hugman as assistants.
