Östers IF and Västerås SK FK faced off at Visma Arena in Växjö in an exciting match in Superettan on Monday evening. The crowd of 1,516 spectators looked forward to a tough and entertaining match, and they certainly got one.
The match began with a high tempo from both teams, but it was Östers IF who scored the first goal. Unfortunately for Västerås SK FK, it was an own goal that led to this, and they went into halftime trailing 1-0.
During the break, Västerås SK FK made a substitution, bringing in Samuel Sörman for David Engström, which seemed to give them some extra energy. Just two minutes into the second half, Erik Björndahl, assisted by Taha Abdi Ali, scored to equalize the score at 1-1.
