Örgryte IS Football became frustrated and received a yellow card after 43 minutes when Eric Nohlgren brought down an opponent. But just ten minutes into the second half, Hampus Dahlqvist equalized following a nice pass from Daniel Paulson.
The home team then took control of the match, and Elias Gustafson scored the leading goal on a pass from Eric Nohlgren after 64 minutes. Just two minutes later, Akropolis IF scored an own goal, giving Örgryte IS Football a two-goal cushion.
Akropolis IF lost confidence and made substitutions to try to find their way back into the match, but it helped little. Örgryte IS Football held on and won the match 3-1.
After the match, Örgryte IS Football's coach Alexander Axén said, "We knew that Akropolis IF was a strong team, but we believed in our game, and it paid off. We played as a team, and it was impressive to see Elias Gustafson, who looked strong in today's match."
