IFK Värnamo secured a much-needed away victory against Trelleborgs FF on Sunday afternoon. The match at Vångavallen turned out to be an exciting and goal-rich event, with the away team eventually winning 3-2.

IFK Värnamo started strong and took the lead after just ten minutes through Wenderson Oliveira do Nascimento after a pass from Christian Moses. Trelleborgs FF tried to find their way back into the match, but it was instead the visitors who extended their lead through Oscar Uddenäs after a nice setup from Oscar Johansson Schellhas.

Just before halftime, Charlie Vindehall received a yellow card for IFK Värnamo following a tough tackle. During the break, Trelleborgs FF decided to substitute Mattias Håkansson in for Henry Offia.

Just over ten minutes into the second half, Trelleborgs FF regained some hope when Mattias Håkansson reduced the deficit to 1-2, assisted by Dzenis Kozica. Shortly after, Kozica was substituted for Simon Amin.

With just over twenty minutes left in the match, Mohammed Khalid Saeid received a yellow card for Trelleborgs FF, while Victor Eriksson got one for IFK Värnamo. In the 71st minute, Henrik Johansson was subbed in for Trelleborgs FF, and in the 83rd minute, IFK Värnamo once again increased their lead when Robin Dzabic scored to make it 1-3 after a pass from Christian Moses. After the goal, Oscar Uddenäs was substituted for Victor Larsson.

In the final minutes, Christian Moses left the pitch for IFK Värnamo, making way for Edvin Becirovic. However, Trelleborgs FF did not give up, and in stoppage time, Fritiof Björkén scored to make it 2-3, assisted by Petar Petrovic.

The match concluded with an important victory for IFK Värnamo, while Trelleborgs FF continues to struggle at the bottom of the Superettan table. The audience at Vångavallen witnessed an entertaining match with five goals and several heated moments on the pitch. The referee team, led by Andreas Dufva-Johansson, also did a good job keeping the match well under control.
