In an exciting Superettan match at Borlänge Energi Arena, the home team IK Brage faced Vasalund. In front of a full and dedicated crowd of 2,469, referee Joakim Östling kicked off the match on Thursday evening.

It didn't take long for IK Brage to take the lead. In just the fourth minute, Leonard Pllana shot the ball into the net, giving his team an early lead of 1-0. Just three minutes later, it was time again when Anton Lundin received the ball from Pllana and extended his team's lead further.

Vasalund tried to reduce the deficit and applied high pressure on the home team, but it was Brage who had control of the match. In the 16th minute, Kebba Ceesay received a yellow card for Vasalund, followed by a warning for Radu Mitu just a minute later. Niklas Söderberg from IK Brage also received a yellow card in the 28th minute.

The first half concluded with a heated atmosphere as Alexander Zetterström from Brage received a yellow card in the final minutes of the first half.

IK Brage started the second half strongly, scoring 3-0 early on through Seth Hellberg with an assist from Robbin Sellin in the 46th minute. Vasalund fought hard but struggled to get back into the match.

Daniel Söderberg from Vasalund received a yellow card in the 60th minute, followed by two substitutions for Vasalund in the 64th minute, where Alexander Andue replaced Denni Avdic. In the 74th minute, Vasalund made three substitutions, bringing in Yasuoka Takuto, Mohamed Katana Nyanje, and Adam Id Salem for Daniel Söderberg, Elias Durmaz, and Tom Strannegård.

IK Brage substituted a tired Seth Hellberg in the 81st minute, replacing him with Joakim Persson. At the same time, Niklas Söderberg was substituted for André Reinholdsson. Douglas Karlberg came in for Leonard Pllana in the 85th minute.
