Trelleborgs FF faced Landskrona BoIS at Vångavallen, Trelleborg's main pitch, in front of an audience of 1,538 people. Referee Joakim Östling and his assistants Simon Kristensson and Sebastian Robertsson had their hands full as the two teams battled it out in the Superettan.
Just two minutes into the match, Landskrona took the lead through Robin Hofsö, assisted by Johan Rapp. Trelleborg attempted to find their way back into the game, but instead received two yellow cards for Haris Brkic and Mohammed Khalid Saeid. Landskrona, on the other hand, accumulated four yellow cards in the first half, shown to Kevin Jensen, Oscar Petersson, Måns Ekvall, and Alexander Tkacz.
In the second half, Landskrona continued to apply pressure, and after fifty minutes, Linus Olsson doubled their lead to 2-0, assisted by Kevin Jensen. However, Trelleborg did not give up and reduced the deficit in the sixty-third minute through Petar Petrovic, who scored from a corner.
Trelleborg tried to catch up to Landskrona and brought on Dzenis Kozica and Henrik Johansson to increase the tempo. Landskrona responded with two substitutions, as Viktor Wihlstrand and Emil Jönsson came on for Melker Heier and Jacob Blixt.
Trelleborg's efforts paid off when Isak Jönsson scored the equalizer in the 84th minute, assisted by Petar Petrovic. Landskrona attempted to put pressure back on Trelleborg again and brought on Jonathan Asp for Johan Rapp, but the match ended 2-2. Jesper Modig received a yellow card for Trelleborg, while Philip Andersson and Ignacio Sanchez Casas, the goalkeeper coach for Landskrona, also received yellow cards during stoppage time.
