On Monday evening, an exciting match took place at Gamla Ullevi between GAIS and Norrby IF. In front of an audience of 3,758, it was Norrby IF that took the lead after 14 minutes. Robin Strömberg scored the first goal with an assist from Luis Argudo. Norrby IF continued to dominate, and Strömberg scored the second goal of the match after 20 minutes. Just two minutes later, Dijan Vukojevic increased Norrby IF’s lead, and GAIS found it difficult to get back into the game.

Just before halftime, GAIS made two substitutions in an attempt to turn the match around, but Norrby IF maintained control, and Nino Osmanagic received a yellow card after 53 minutes. After 67 minutes, Luis Argudo scored Norrby IF’s fourth goal, and GAIS fans looked increasingly disappointed.

GAIS still tried to get back into the match by bringing on several players, but Norrby IF held strong, and Viktor Bergh received a yellow card after 79 minutes. GAIS scored a consolation goal in the 89th minute when Richard Yarsuvat found the net with an assist from August Wängberg. GAIS also received a yellow card just before the match ended, and Norrby IF won the match with a score of 4-1. Referee Robert Daradic blew the final whistle after four minutes of added time.

Norrby IF’s Robin Strömberg scored two of the goals and was the hero of the match, while GAIS had to head home with a loss and no points. This was an important victory for Norrby IF, who is fighting to stay at the top of the Superettan table.
