It was a rainy evening at Behrn Arena when Örebro faced Trelleborgs FF in an exciting match in Superettan. Before the match, Örebro was in a slump with three straight losses, while Trelleborgs FF was in sixth place in the standings.
The match started intensely, and just two minutes in, Trelleborgs FF’s Haris Brkic received a warning from referee Oscar Johnson. However, it was Örebro that took the lead in the seventh minute. Erik Björndahl headed the ball into the net after a nice assist from Kevin Walker.
Trelleborgs FF fought back, and in the 26th minute, Nicolas Mortensen equalized with his fourth goal of the season. Haris Brkic provided the assist. The match was even and hard-fought, with plenty of warnings issued. Victor Ekani Mpindi from Örebro received a warning in the 35th minute, and Jake Larsson was cautioned in the 55th minute. Trelleborgs FF also received a warning when Fritiof Björkén was booked in the 57th minute.
In the 52nd minute, Trelleborgs FF took the lead with a goal from Henry Offia, who scored his sixth goal of the season. Örebro responded quickly, and in the 58th minute, Victor Ekani Mpindi equalized again, assisted by Kevin Walker.
The pace was high, and it was an intense second half. David Seger from Örebro received a warning in the 61st minute, and Trelleborgs FF’s Jesper Modig was cautioned in the 79th minute.
