Dalkurd made their first substitutions in the 56th minute, with Pashang Abdulla replaced by Ezequiel Montagna. However, Montagna received a yellow card just one minute later.

Halmstad made their first substitution in the 74th minute, with Sadat Karim replaced by Villiam Dahlström. Mikael Boman also entered the match, taking over from Alexander Johansson.

With only three minutes left of regular time, Joseph Baffoe from Halmstad received a yellow card from the referee. However, this would not affect the outcome of the match.

In the third minute of stoppage time, Halmstad struck again, sealing the deal. Emil Tot Wikström scored, assisted by Mikael Boman, securing a 3-1 victory for Halmstad.
