GAIS won a decisive victory after defeating IK Brage 3-0 at Bravida Arena, thereby taking three very important points in Superettan. GAIS dominated the match from the start and applied pressure on IK Brage early in the first half. After 41 minutes of play, it was Gustav Lundgren who scored the first goal for GAIS, following a beautiful pass from Joackim Åberg. GAIS continued to show their superiority and scored another goal early in the second half when Alexander Ahl Holmström put the ball in the net past the Brage goalkeeper.

IK Brage desperately tried to get back into the match, but the GAIS defense was solid and stopped all their attempts. Julius Lindberg scored GAIS's third goal after 65 minutes, which crushed all of Brage's hopes of turning the match around. The match concluded with an increase in yellow cards for both IK Brage and GAIS players. The GAIS crowd was very pleased with the outcome of the match, and GAIS now looks to have a bright future ahead in Superettan.
