The match started relatively evenly, and after twenty minutes, the first warning was given to IK Brage's Pontus Jonsson. After another fourteen minutes, Örebro's Lucas Shlimon also received a warning. Before halftime, Örebro's Daniel Björnkvist was substituted for Jake Larsson and Victor Backman was substituted for Malïk Mokédé.
The second half began with fast and effective play from IK Brage's side. Just ten minutes in, the score lit up as Samouil Izountouemoi found the net with an assist from Gustav Berggren, giving IK Brage a 1-0 lead. However, Izountouemoi received a warning shortly thereafter.
After just over 70 minutes of play, Kevin Appiah Nyarko was substituted for Ieltsin Jeronimo Semedo Camoes and Axel Andrésson was replaced by Sebastian Crona, while Adi Fisic came on for Kevin Walker for Örebro. Despite the substitutions, Örebro could not bounce back, and with just over ten minutes left in the match, IK Brage extended their lead with a beautiful goal from Gustav Berggren, again assisted by Izountouemoi.
The match ultimately ended 2-0 in favor of IK Brage, who secured a much-needed victory and gave their team hope of climbing out of the bottom positions in the table. Örebro, on the other hand, will now need to analyze their tactics and strategies ahead of their next match to recover from this loss.
