Östers IF turned things around in Friday night's match against Skövde AIK in the Superettan at Visma Arena in Växjö. Skövde AIK, who sit at the bottom of the table, took the lead in the second minute through Isak Bjerkebo after an assist from Elias Lindell. Östers IF tried to find an equalizer, but Skövde AIK held firm and maintained their lead until the 45th minute when Daniel Ljung was able to equalize after a fine pass from Jesper Jonasson Westermark.

Eight minutes into the second half, Jonasson Westermark struck again, and this time it was he himself who found the back of the net after a nice through ball from Adam Bergmark Wiberg, giving Östers IF a 2-1 lead. Skövde AIK fought to equalize, but Östers' defense held strong, and in the 84th minute, both John Stenberg and Vladimir Rodic received yellow cards. Östers IF also created several chances while Skövde AIK substituted multiple players in an effort to turn the match around.

The match ended 2-1 in favor of Östers IF, who continue to keep pace at the top of the table in fifth place. Skövde AIK continues to struggle at the bottom of the standings.
