Östersund dominated from the start and took an early lead when Sebastian Karlsson Grach scored in the 41st minute. Malcolm Stolt then extended the lead to 2-0 after a nice assist by Erick Brendon Pinheiro da Silva during a quick counter-attack in the 50th minute.

Östersund continued to press and were rewarded with another goal from Karlsson Grach, who scored with a header from a fine pass by Assiedou Yannick Armel Adjoumani in the 55th minute. Landskrona BoIS tried to get back into the match through substitutions, but Mansour Sinyan increased Östersund's lead to 4-0 after a solo effort.

Landskrona BoIS eventually managed to pull one back in the 75th minute when Ousmane Diawara scored from a nice pass by Robin Dzabic. But it was not enough to threaten Östersund's strength, who substituted several players to maintain their lead. The match ended 4-1 in favor of Östersund, who took three points in Superettan and proved their dominance at home.
