At Jämtkraft Arena, Östersund and Trelleborgs FF faced off in a Superettan match that ended in a 2-2 draw. The attendance was 1,970 people, and the referee was Kaspar Sjöberg, assisted by Fredrik Hammarström and Jonas Dahl.
The match began with a yellow card for Trelleborgs FF’s Zander Hyltoft in the 35th minute. Then Trelleborg took the lead with two quick goals, first by Herman Hallberg in the 55th minute and then by Nicolas Mortensen in the 58th minute, which caused great concern among the home crowd at Jämtkraft Arena.
However, Östersund did not give up and made three substitutions in the 67th minute, bringing on Sebastian Karlsson Grach, Albin Sporrong, and Calvin Kabuye to try to turn the match around. Kabuye would prove to be an important player in the second half when his cross led to Trelleborgs' Abel Ogwuche accidentally scoring an own goal, reducing the deficit to 1-2.
Trelleborg made substitutions with Liam Olausson and Haris Brkic in the 69th and 70th minutes, while Östersund brought in Ziad Ghanoum in the 72nd minute to chase the equalizer. It wasn’t until the 87th minute that Östersund managed to equalize through Simon Marklund, assisted by Kabuye.
Trelleborg attempted to launch an offensive with substitutions of Markus Björkqvist and Tobias Karlsson in the 78th minute, but it was too late to determine the outcome of the match. Instead, they brought on Jesper Dickman for Filip Bohman in the 90+3rd minute, but the final result remained a 2-2 draw.
