It was a messy and dramatic match between Landskrona BoIS and GIF Sundsvall at Landskrona IP A-plan on Tuesday evening. Landskrona took the lead as early as the 27th minute when Ousmane Diawara headed in the goal, assisted by Jesper Strid. It was a great start for the home team, who were secure in their lead and could go into halftime without any major concerns.

In the second half, Landskrona chose to continue pressing, and the second goal came quickly when Frederik Ihler was able to head in a nice pass from Robin Dzabic. However, shortly after the goal, the referee showed a yellow card to Marcus Burman of Sundsvall, who had tackled an opponent brutally. This yellow card would not be Burman's only involvement in the match, as he was substituted just a few minutes after his warning.

It was just as Burman left the field that Sundsvall found their first goal. Oliver Stojanovic Fredin was able to head in a fine pass from Elias Durmaz in the 65th minute, reducing the deficit. Now Sundsvall was on the move and quickly brought in two more players, Linus Hallenius and Lucas Forsberg, with just over twelve minutes left in the match.

The substitutions had an immediate effect as Hallenius was able to score after being assisted by Erik Andersson in the 81st minute – and suddenly the match was tied. Landskrona tried desperately to regain the lead but struggled to create dangerous opportunities going forward. In the 89th minute, however, Melker Jonsson was substituted in to try and create one last push forward.

But despite the attempts from both teams, the match ended in a 2-2 draw. Landskrona will have to settle for one point at home and remains in fifth place in the table, while Sundsvall picked up an important point and sits in thirteenth place. Referee Fredrik Oppong had quite a bit to keep an eye on during the match but managed to keep the pace down and blew the final whistle without any major incidents at the end.
